Philip Island Road Trip [27/11/2008]

This road trip is William Loh's, N.Kee's & Y.Yi's first trip in Melb where they'll be touring to the suburbs and beyond =p So Philip Island here we go... to see Aussie's cute lil penguins and lazy koalas!

This is one of out first stop before crossing over to Philip Island, a town called San Remo. Gosh! No idea how freaky that beach was... think the whole beach town is infected with skin/meat biting flies!

Interestingly... the gurls were not affected by the 'cannibal' flies at all, except for our friend Vincent... *hMMmm*

"Guyz look?! Tupai in Philip Island!"

The first place we visited was another island called Churchill Island, just off Philip island. I like a mini museum of how life started in Philip Island. We bought our tickets for the Koala & Penguin park there... managed to get the Churchill Island for free... thanks to my persuasiveness to negotiate =p hehehe

Picture of a sundial... amazing how this technology lasted through time... in those days Daylight savings was not implemented yet so that's y the dial seems to be an hour slower (or faster?)

I think this was the only group picture we took together in a Koala Reserve park.

Before heading to see the penguin, we headed to the town of Cowes for dinner. We went to one of the best Italian restaurant in the region!

Last pic of this post. Sadly photography was a no-no inside... so no penguins to see here, but all I can say they are tiny and OH-SO-CUTE!
