Drivers/Co-Drivers: Myself, Alfred, Ivan & Slinky Mun
Crewman/Crew woman: Justin, Ada, Ziling, Cin Vin & Natalie
This could be one of my longest entry I've written... but good things must share rite?
We met at Hungry Jacks, Cnr of Swanston St & La Trobe St at about 9:30am for breakfast and briefing. Then we head towards Franklin St to pick up our Second Transport for our trip from Hertz car rental.

Getting our second car
We then took a group picture and off we go!

Our special guest: Joanne (front white jacket), who sadly couldn't join us cause she's heading to the Land of the Rising Sun as an exchange student! =D
Our first stop of Great Ocean Road is Torquay, right after passing through Geelong. When I saw the first sight of the sea... I felt a sudden tingly in me. Don't know why, but I get this happy and peaceful feeling whenever I'm near the sea. Just so serene and pure.

Sadly I didn't keep track of our arrival times during the trip to keep this trip's journal more detailed. Anyway, our next stop was Anglesea. Quiet a small time really. Nothing much to see... but thanks to the low tide, we were able to walk along the beach.

Pic is self-titled
About 10-20 minutes of driving, we stopped by a Lighthouse(Split Point) in Aireys Inlet for more snap shot moments.

Me: WOot!! R U ENJOY?!
Vin: WeE!! XD

By then we were hungry and thank goodness Lorne is not too far away, just less then 20 minute drive down the road. When we were there we went to the Tourist Information Center to ask for directions for Fish & Chips shops. The cute thing was, when we about leave the place, he was kinda hesitating, but in the end he asked "wanna see Koala bear?"
He pinpointed the Koala "sighting" site on the map and off we went. To those who don't know bout Koala bears... they are one lazy bum... they spend their time eat sleep and eat loads of 'high-grass', so if u see them in one spot, they won't go away anytime (or day) soon.

Can you spot the bear bear?

walking down to Salty Dog (fish & chips shop) for lunch
Our final stop for the day... Apollo Bay. By then it got really cold and it started to get dark. It took an hour plus to reach our resort. The place we stayed is called Seafarers Getaway and is off the town of Apollo Bay. Beautiful place I tell you... all thanks to Ada for finding such a fine place.

mmm... nice and relaxing isn't it?
Day 2, checkout at bout 10am and off we go to continue our journey towards our main objective of the trip: 12 Apostles.

Our resort could be a farm stay as well =p Oh they have Llamas as well!

Group picture before leaving the resort
After about 1 hour+ going through forest reserves, winding roads up/down hill and farm lands, we finally reached 12 Apostles, which is off the town of Port Campbell. That day was just plain cold and chilling!

Made it!

After spending a handful of time there, we headed towards Port Campbell for lunch. Our final stop before embarking our journey homeward towards Melbourne.

Our first toilet stop during our journey home towards Melbourne was Camperdown. A town known to be a volcanic site.

Looks like the Wild West huh?
Our last stop before we reached Melbourne, Winchelsea. I know.... what a sad name to name a town eh? =(

Winchelsea? Loose lar Chelsea

This trip is definitely a sweet and memorable one, and is only made possible by good planning by all parties involve (from accommodation to the BBQ) and of course, a great company of friends. Which made the journey more significant than the destination itself. THANK YOU!
