---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thursday 24th July, left home to Huntingdale station (just a station away from Clayton Station and is Zone 1 instead of Zone 2 in Clayton). Thank goodness I manage to pack in time, think I just took the last city bound train from my Pakenham line.
Pretty scary though being alone in the train station.

Met up at Slinky place before departing into separate buses, there were two tour groups for this trip. The Yuhan Teoh's and Deric's group. Me, Tracy and Natalie were on Yuhan's. Meet up again at Melbourne's Uni bus stop for our transport. Left Melbourne at 1:30am sharp.
Journey took around 7 hours in total. We did stop by at a rest-stop for toilet break and a quick Mcker's meal. We stopped at a bakery at abour 6am for breakfast. Very essential meal as I didn't manage to sleep much on the bus and found out we would be hitting the snow right after we check-in and get our gears. So energy to stay warm, energy to snowboard the rest of the day and to stay awake is a must.
At about 9 or 9:30am, we've finally reached Falls Creek. Mmmm... haven't seen, touched or smelled snow for a long time.

Clear blue skies =)

My Snowboard! Cowabanga!
After almost of an hour of preperation. We're ready to ride!!

Tracy, Nat, Wilson and JC

Woot I'm ready...or not
Since it was my first time snowboarding (I skied the last time), is of course very very wise to take up Lesson 1!

*BleH* Who needs lessons!?

Well after a hard 1 hour lesson... we deserve our lunch break and some "golden" reward! "Cheers!!"

J and Wilson... the last time I saw them b4 all of us got separated. Reason? Well I'm really sleep deprive... even lunch and breakfast can't help =( So I was really slowing down the group I was with at first. Natalie couldn't go on cause she kinda strained her ankle during training.

Luckily met up with Pei Lin, our pace are not that far apart. So both of us with her housemate snowboarded together.

Wombat's Rumble, not an easy trail as it's very very narrow... and it has a beginner's rating!

Once headed back to my lodge, I just bathed, changed, eat, and sleep. -_-
Day 2
Didn't take any pictures the next day. Think is best not to bring my camera along. I've felt so many times the day before. So it wouldn't be advisable to bring along anything fragile with me. I had to rent a pair of Wrist-guard before I went and snowboard again. Had a bad fall the previous day and I almost thought I broke my wrist on that fall. Plus my butt really hurts,so I planned to fall with my wrist instead of my back.
Me and Ivan decided to take the level 2 lessons while the others went on snowboarding. Both of us realised we fall alot cause we got no idea how to do S-Turns and stop. Lessons were good, really learn lots. We were snowboarding like pros after that. Sadly... only for 1 run down Wombat's Rumble, but it was a good run!
At night, was at Slinky's room for our drinking session together with Jin Yin, Deric, Ivan, CinVin, Mei, Valerie & Chi. Made my self-made Nachos (thanks to Yu Wei Sifu). Oh bout midnight... it SNOWED! Haha tell the truth this is only my second time witnessing snow fall.
Day 3
Ah... Sadly our last day in Falls Creek. We were so tempted to snowboard just for awhile as the snow are sooo soft and fresh!
On our way up for lunch at The Village!! (Remember that M.Night S. movie?

Mei, Nat & Slinky

Me, Tracy & Pei Lin
Lunch! These meal is our first proper meal after 2 days!

After lunch... is snowball-war time!

Valerie: MMmm Ice-Batu-Kacang!
Chi: Think we can put it to better use...
Ivan: *grin*
That's all I got to share... U can expect the ending: On the bus - Sleep - Same McKer's stop for lunch - Sleep - Home.
Damn! Feel like following Valerie the following weekend to continue snowboarding! I'm ADDICTED!
